Fathead dough for pizza, calzones and hotpockets

 

This is a huge staple in my house. There are so many recipes you can do change this recipe from buns, to calzones, pizza and even cinnamon rolls! Here is the basic recipe for the dough.

Instructions
basic dough
  1. In a small bowl, add cream cheese and mozzarella. Microwave on high for 40 seconds. Stir and put back in for a further 10 seconds or until melted.
  2. Add remaining ingredients to the melted cheese.
  3. Mix as well as you can. Don’t panic it will work together, just get it as best as you can.
  4. Place a sheet of baking paper on the surface you are using. Place another piece of baking paper on top and roll out flat.
pizza base
  1. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown. Top with your favourite toppings and bake for a further 15 minutes or until cheese is golden.
calzone/ hotpockets
  1. (A favourite in our house is marmite and cheese or ham and cheese.) Before baking cut into 4 strips and place selected fillings on half of the strip. fold over and seal all edges. Make a few fork holes over the pocket for steam release. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.
